Case Study 1

A recent house we have completed needed a complete makeover. The home was built in the 1973’s was looking a little worse for wear and the clients were ready to bring their home back to its former glory. We discussed with the client about what steps we will take to make the house look up to date with the current trend.

Firstly we used a chemical treatment to address the mould, moss and lichen. We then water blasted the entire home to ensure that any loose paint was removed. We then applied undercoat as the roof tin had some rust, so it protects the tin as well as it holds on to the paint more strongly. Lastly we then applied two top coats.

We know that with time the exterior gets dirty and that fresh paint looks goes away so we used latex paint on the exterior walls as it cleans up with soap and water and also remains flexible longer so it’s less likely to crack. At Innovative Painting we pay close attention to details of our work, so we filled any gaps, plastered & sanded where needed, to ensure the best possible result.

This was a great makeover project and not only did we revitalise the exterior of the home including the roof, but we also cleaned up the property fences and gave them a fresh new look with a coat of paint.
